For the month of November, The Learning Hub’s Writing Staff is going to be saying what we’re thankful for this year. Join in in the comments! What are YOU thankful for? What writing aspects could you not live without? We want to hear!
Sarah loves her job as the Writing Coordinator for The Learning Hub, which she has held since August of 2012. Previously, she received her Bachelor’s from UIS with an English major and an unofficial minor in Theater in Spring 2010, and then returned to UIS for her graduate studies in English, finishing in May 2012 after completing her thesis project, entitled, “The Face of Disability: Humanizing Effects of Autographics on the Physically and Mentally Impaired.” She worked at The Learning Hub (then CTL) for two years as a peer mentor, and then returned as a graduate TA for two years. Returning as the Writing Specialist seems a natural, and very exciting leap for her, and she is looking forward to the academic year!
